If you're in your late 40s like me and you remember watching this as a teen, do yourself a favor and stay away. I spent the whole movie thinking of why they would do the franchise such an injustice of making it.
The rest is pretty crap. I found it painful to watch.
The only highlight was watching the end montage - that was cool.
As per the title, not really any different to the first two. So a bit silly, funny in places, not laugh out loud funny but quite amusing. if you liked the first two you will enjoy it but can not see it getting great reviews from those new to the franchise.
If you're looking for nostalgia, go elsewhere. This definitely does NOT mean that live up to the originals. It has some humorous moments but they are far and few in between. It is mildly entertaining if you were a big fan of the franchise as I was back in the late 80's and early 90's though. Definitely funny to watch Keanu trying to be funny. His Neo character from The Matrix definitely comes through and is obvious.
